Plant Aeration Basic Expansion

Medford, Oregon

Project purpose was to improve the efficiency of the plant’s water reclamation process.

Work included doubling the diffuser capacity of the aeration basin; modifications to primary sedimentation basins; new slide gates; new downward opening weir gates; air header upgrades; new submersible mixer; and new sluice gates to facilitate bypass capabilities.

Project included a temporary bypass with pumping capacity of over 25 million gallons per day.
