Yoncalla School District Renovations

Ausland was hired for the seismic renovation of Yoncalla Elementary School. The rehabilitation included new roof sheathing with new roofing package, select existing structure strengthening, new wood shear walls, new covered walkway moment frames, and new gymnasium HVAC system.The project finished under budget with Ausland’s self-perform crews saving the project $100,000.

After making the Elementary School project a success, the School District again selected Ausland Group for two phases of seismic renovations to the classrooms, gym, music room, shop areas, and administrative areas at Yoncalla High School. Ausland’s design team also assisted in the project, moving architectural components around the school to create a cohesive learning environment for the students.
