“The Bricks” and Bowmer Theater

This project included the redevelopment of The Bricks and Bowmer Theater in Ashland, Oregon.  Ausland was honored to be part of the team charged with delivering a re-envisioned open space (The Bricks) that ensured the plaza is accessible and supports OSF’s famous “ reenshow”, as well as other community events. Ausland’s role was primarily engineering and land use services.  The project scope involved large utility service relocation to the Plaza, including all dry utilities, water service lines, and storm drainage relocation.  This work required navigating through a host of crossing conflicts and grading changes.  The Bowmer Theater, located within the Historic and Down Town Districts of Ashland, went through an extensive application and approval process to allow new accessibility to OSF’s patrons and comply with all development standards.
