The project purpose was to improve the efficiency of the plant’s water reclamation process.
Work included doubling the diffuser capacity of the aeration basin, modifications to primary sedimentation basins, new slide gates, new downward opening weir gates, air header upgrades, a new submersible mixer, and new sluice gates to facilitate bypass capabilities.
The project included a temporary bypass with pumping capacity of over 25 million gallons per day.
