Ausland designed and built seismic renovations for Brookings-Harbor School District in Brookings, Oregon. This included multiple campuses over the course of two summers – Kalmiopsis Elementary School ($1.32 million), Azalea Middle School ($1.36 million), and Brookings-Harbor High School ($1.31 million).
The success of these projects highlights the positive effects of designing and constructing the seismic retrofit in order to provide maximum benefit to the school with the amount of grant funding provided.
Currently, Ausland is working with the School District on a project to perform ADA accessibility upgrades throughout the middle school and high school.
