Federal Affordable Housing Renovations
for Chrisman Development Inc.

Ausland Rehabilitated 176 affordable housing units, predominantly for USDA Rural Development projects. The bundle included five locations; Big Valley Jacksonville, Big Valley Sutherlin, The Greens at Ridings, Two Rivers Christy Court, and Two Rivers North Fork. All projects required both exterior and interior renovations to federal housing standards, while occupied. Ausland sequenced the projects to provide one-week turn-key “flipping” of units to minimize the inconvenience to tenants (and meet stringent federal requirements). Locations of units were spread wide and far throughout rural areas of the State.  Ausland’s self-perform labor crews proved critical to maintaining quality control and schedule of each location.
