Three Rivers School District Gymnasiums Seismic Renovations

Ausland is currently providing seismic upgrades at two local schools: Illinois Valley High School in Cave Junction and Hidden Valley High School in Murphy, Oregon. The projects will provide sufficient upgrades to the gymnasiums and adjacent spaces to meet ASCE’s immediate occupancy standards, ensuring that the facilities remain standing in the event of a major earthquake, to keep students and staff safe and provide functional emergency shelters.

With the help of Ausland’s design team, both schools were able to earn full funding for these projects through the State Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program.
