Tony LaMorticella, SE

Tony has more than 20 years of experience in structural engineering, in which he has performed a variety of design engineering services.  Prior to becoming an engineer, he earned his bachelor’s degree in anthropology, and spent 15 years in the custom woodworking business. He began his career in engineering after being inspired by the magnificent bridges along the Oregon coast. Tony’s experience and knowledge make him uniquely qualified to perform evaluations and design historically-sensitive rehabilitations of bridges and other structures. During the past 14 years, he has been the lead design engineer in the rehabilitation of 18 of Oregon’s 50 remaining historic covered bridges.
